Last week, one of my company's customer got the shock of her life when she received her credit card bill. Her credit limit was maxxed out. A whopping 15k of online shopping bills. She knew i am very familiar with credit cards and called me up for help. As i was going to the bank which is near where she lives, i stopped by her house.
When i got there, i saw some clothes ather living hall. A brand that can only be purchased online. She told me that she bought them earlier at the online store i suspected. I probed further and got to know that she paid for that item using the very credit card that was busted. When i asked more, i found that she doesnt have any anti-virus or anti-spyware installed on her pc *slaps forehead*
When he computer technician came by to check, he found that it was filled with lots of spyware, adware, spyware and dunno what else.
