My best friend's Amnio test result came back this morning. Her baby's fine. YAYYY!!!Isnt that the most fantastic news. My, waiting for her result was the longest 2 weeks of her life. I guess, when and if i do get pregnant the next time, i'll go through the same harrowing ordeal. I'll do it just to rule out the possibilities of carrying a baby with Down Syndrome.
Her Obs (also mine lah), told her this week hasnt been a good one for him. Many moms-to-be in his care seems to be having problems with their babies. And the lady just before my friend also just got to know that the baby she's carrying is confirmed to be a Down Syndrome baby. Moreover, it's her first. How sad. I dont know what decision that lady will make regarding her baby, but dear god, bless both mother and child. Help her make the best decision.
I'll be celebrating this joyous occasion with a big-fat Tiramisu session with her sometime next week. Come next week, i'll have 3 whole do-what-i-like hrs sans Gordon all to myself 5 days a week. Wahhh, can go gai-gai every single day with Malcolm if i want to. Shop till i drop and eat till i cant walk also can, hehehe. Song-sei lerrrr.....
