ESET for your computer security protection

I had to help my neighbor set up his computer just now. His wife had gone overseas and he need to check his email urgently. His computer was wiped out completely last week as it was attacked by a malicious virus. He forgot to update the anti virus software so that it has the latest protection. Too bad, it's all to late now. He now wants to get a new one and asked me if ESET is good or not. He says it's one of the best Security Software in each threat category including Anti Virus, Anti Spyware, Exploits, and Firewalls. Wow, looks like it's time i change mine too as it's also expired and i've no intention of renewing the license. Anyone using EST here?
