When i was in my early twenties, i asked a friend's mom to teach me how to sew and quilt. I've always wanted to learn the craft as i find it very interesting. I even told myself back then that once i know how to quilt, i will make a bedding set for my first baby. Dont laugh, ok. It's true. Even till today, i still want to learn how to quilt. Unfortunately, my friend's mom is no longer around. She passed away about six years ago, before my first kid was born. I never got to learn how to quilt.
I may not know how to quilt, but i sure know how to knit and crochet. I've been doing that for more more than twenty years as i learned that when i was just in my teens. I've made many beautiful items for myself, hubby and kids. A friend just gave birth to a beautiful boy last month and i want to buy him something special. If only i have the time, i dont mind knitting a baby blanket for him.
