Huawei 3g modem and Vista

I'm now back to using my Huawei 3g modem to go online when on the move. I have this feeling that my stupid Vista is unable to communicate with a lot of routers. I can see the two pcs icon lit up at the bottom right of my laptop. Abuthen, there's no internet connection at all even though the rest of the people around me have no problem going online with the free wifi provided here. Kanasai.... lucky for me i upgraded my Huawei modem to the latest firmware a few days ago. I can now go online without worrying about my phone batt dying on me halfway.
