Would you undergo plasctic surgery?

Now, let's just get serious and consider properly before subjecting our body to all sorts of modifications for vanity sake that requires surgical procedures. That means having someone cut you up and inserting foreign objects into you, or inserting a tube inside to suck your insides out. Whether it's in or out, all these are done in the name of vanity. Ask yourself this question. Why are you doing it? Isnt for pure self -satisfaction? Or is it to please someone else. Come on, it's either this or that, right. No one's pointing a gun at your head and forcing you to get a boob job or rhinoplasty. But then, of course i know there many many instances when one really wants to modify their appearance.

Let's just take for example if you were born with a cleft lip and cleft palate. Let me explain briefly what a cleft lip and a cleft palate is. Cleft lip and cleft palate are simply birth defects that affect the upper lip and roof of the mouth. These happen when the tissue that forms the roof of the mouth and upper lip don't join together properly before birth. This problem can range from a small notch in the lip to a groove that runs into the roof of the mouth and nose and it can affect the way your face looks. This birth defect can also lead to problems with eating, talking and ear infections.

During my days, there were not many plastic surgeons around that can carry out corrective surgery for this problem. I have a few friends that were born with this birth defect. Though they had corrective surgery done on their faces, it's not as perfect as those done by todays' plastic surgeons. Their skills have improved so much that newborns with this birth defect are operated upon without further delay. And when they grow up, their birth defect is hardly noticeable too compared to what my friends have.

Of course this is only an area of what plastic surgery can do to improve one's appearance. These days, many liken paying a visit to their plastic surgeons to going for a vacation. If you have the opportunity to go over to Los Angeles one of these days, you will notice many people visit los angeles plastic surgery clinics for consultation that range from los angeles tummy tuck or beverly hills liposuction to breast augmentation and rhinoplasty. Would you dare walk into one and seek their professional opinion on how best to improve your appearance? You might return as a whole new you.
