Any male makeup artists around?

My friend's heart fell when her son told her he wants to do study at a cosmetology school. What's the problem with that? The beauty industry is a flourishing one and there's no shortage in demand for makeup artists and hairdressers. Maybe she's old fashioned and thinks that only girls takes beauty courses. My hairdresser is a guy and he's very successful. I see many male makeup artists these days too. If my kid is interested in pursuing a course in this industry, i'd say, go for it. Who knows, maybe one day, he'll be successful enough to have his own makeup brand.
