Did you bust your credit card limit?

Who still shop with cash these days? Not me. I use my credit cards when i go shopping. I'm very scared of carrying so much cash with me these days. You know, we read so much about snatch-theft cases in the papers. I sure wont want to fall prey to them. I know the credit card is a very convenient piece of plastic to have in our purse. With just a swipe of the card, we can buy everything that we want. But watch out. It can be dangerous too if you are not responsible with spending habits. You may bust your credit limit if you happen to be one impulsive shopper.

I have friends who bust theirs on a single shopping trip and end up paying a lot more on their initial purchases. Credit cards interest rates are very high. Of course you can always carry out a balance transfer if you have a spare credit card. If you intend to do so, do yourself a favor and use this online balance transfer calculator to see how much you can save on your interest. Dont be surprised that you can asave a lot this way. Just dont make it a habit. Make sure you make your repayment on time whenever you get your credit card bill, k.
