How to get rid of Resetti

I've been playing Animal Crossing for almost one month and one of the characters that irks me most is blardy Resetti. Oh, he'll come visit when i forget to save before i turn the NDS off. So, how to get rid of Resetti permanently? Well, apparently, there's only ONE way. And that's to SAVE before you turn the NDS off. Same goes to the Wii. You can either hit the start button and select "Save and End", or you go to your bed up at the attic and save from there. I can tell you the latter takes more time and if you are in a hurry to exit, use the Start button. That's the only way to get rid of Resetti for good. he wont come visit if you save before you exit.
